BHS Dr. Arthur Turfa to Release Book of Poetry

COLUMBIA, SC – Dr. Arthur Turfa’s first book of poetry, Places and Times, has been released by eLectio Publishing from Little Spring, Texas. The book reflects on places, people, and events that influenced and shaped who he is now. Turfa has previously been published in several other poetry magazines; in fact, his dissertation has been published in Germany. He has taught since 2007 at Blythewood High School and as an adjunct at Midlands Technical College since 2005.
The official launch event for Places and Times will be Thursday, April 30, from 4:40-6:30 PM at the Blythewood Arts Center, 152B Blythewood Road.
