BHS Teacher Named as Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow
March 13, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – Blythewood High School Social Studies teacher Scott Auspelmyer has been named a 2015-16 Museum Teacher Fellow for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This designation is awarded to fewer than 20 teachers across the U.S., and it involves a week long summer institute both this summer and next at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
The purpose of the MTF Program is to develop a national corps of skilled teachers who can serve as leaders in Holocaust education in their schools, communities, and professional organizations. Scott has previously been honored as Teacher of the Year for Blythewood High School and National Social Studies Teacher of the Year.
