Bid Process Opened for Removal of House of Future Clinton Library Location

The City of Clinton is seeking sealed bids for the sale of the house located at 304 W. Pitts St. for removal from the property. House is to be moved to make way for the new Clinton Branch of the Laurens County Library.

Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM, Tuesday October 12, 2021 at which time they will be opened and publicly read in Council Chambers located at 211 N. Broad St. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with Bid Number 09/21/2021 Sale of House marked in the lower left hand corner. Complete bid packages, which will include the listings and tax map numbers for this sale, may be obtained from Joey Meadors, Director of Public Works and Utilities at 1219 Gary St, Clinton, SC during normal working hours or the City of Clinton Website www.cityofclintonsc.com. Bids must be mailed or hand delivered. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
