Bingham named World Trade Center Charleston Executive Director

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announces Pennie Bingham as Executive Director of World Trade Center Charleston. The Chamber also welcomes two new team members, Grecia Hamilton and Bridget Holm.

Pennie Bingham has been appointed as Executive Director of World Trade Center Charleston (WTCC), a division of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. Bingham’s role is to drive global commerce by leading the activities of WTCC, including the Export Charleston training program, as well as building key trade relationships. WTCC is committed to helping the region thrive in global commerce. Bingham previously served as the Chamber’s Senior Vice President of Advancement. Her new role is part of the Chamber’s strategy to increase focus on global commerce and grow WTCC’s regional impact.

Bingham, who has worked for the Chamber for 12 years and within the global commerce field for six, received her Bachelor of Science in business from Florida International University. She has lived in Charleston for 15 years and currently resides in Beresford Hall with her husband, Gordon Bingham.

greciaGrecia Hamilton recently joined the Chamber team as Membership Coordinator. Within her role, Hamilton ensures Chamber members fully maximize their membership investment as well as supports the Membership division in membership recruitment and retention efforts.

Originally from Los Angeles, Hamilton received a Bachelor’s in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She can speak three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese, and resides in West Ashley with her husband and two dogs.

 

 

holmAs a Membership Account Executive, Bridget Holm’s role within the Chamber is to recruit new member investors by promoting the organization’s mission of advancing our region’s economy, improving our quality of life and enhancing our members’ success. Her responsibilities include portraying how the Chamber can positively impact the development and growth of our business community in order to recruit and retain member investors.

Holm has more than 18 years of successful sales experience and received a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Phoenix. She is originally from Chicago and currently resides in West Ashley with her family.
