Bishop Tires Inc. Changes Ownership: New Owner Meet and Greet June 12th

June 8, 2021

An icon for vehicle service and all things tires, Bishop Tires has been serving the Clinton and Laurens County community for over sixty years.

A few months ago, the business changed hands when Danny and David Bishop closed the doors for the last time on March 31st. The next day the shop opened under the new owner, Skipper Lancaster.

The transition has been in the making for some time now and regular customers should expect to receive the same great service for all their tire related and other automotive needs.

“Bishop Tires is an icon in the Clinton community,” said Lancaster, “The Bishop family served the community well for so many years and we are proud to take over and continue with the level of service customers have come to expect over the years.”

If you haven’t been in the shop recently, come by on Saturday, June 12th to meet the new owner. The “meet and greet” will be held from 12:30-2:30pm in the Bishop Tires parking lot. Jack Roper & Band will be there, and Jack the Magician will be entertaining the kids. There will also be refreshments and prizes.

Bishop Tires Inc. is located at 1100 Broad Street in Clinton. They are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and 8:00 am – 12 noon on Saturdays. For more information about services provided call 864-833-4780 or visit their website, www.bishoptire.net.
