BLE’s Senior Hydrogeologist, Andrew Alexander, P.G., to present at Clemson’s 27th Annual Hydrogeology Symposium

Andrew Alexander, P.G. will present at the 27th Annual Hydrogeology Symposium on April 4, 2019 at Clemson University. Mr. Alexander will speak on “Using Magnetometer Surveys to Locate Buried Waste Material – Three Case Studies of Increasing Complexity.”
The Clemson Hydrogeology Symposium is an ongoing effort to engage and educate the hydrogeological community at large whether from industry or academia. Last year’s symposium featured a record-breaking attendance of more than 450 participants from both government and industry with representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency, SC Department of Natural Resources, and the US Geological Survey.
Mr. Alexander has over 28 years of experience as a professional hydrogeologist providing consulting services for a broad spectrum of clients. Mr. Alexander’s specialty services include environmental monitoring, assessment, and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, waste profiling and waste management, water resource investigation, stormwater and spill prevention plans, environmental permitting, water quality monitoring plans, landfill gas monitoring plans, and geotechnical support services.
Mr. Alexander holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of South Carolina and is a licensed Professional Geologist in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana. Mr. Alexander is also a Registered Site Manager in the state of North Carolina.
