In addition to this recognition, Marti Bluestein was named a 2014 Lawyer of the Year in Columbia, SC in the area of Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants’, an honor given to only one lawyer from each practice area in each community.

It is truly an honor to be recognized for our work by our peers, said Marti Bluestein, partner. As dedicated advocates for the rights of everyday South Carolinians, we are grateful for this recognition from our colleagues, which reaffirms our devotion and hard work.

Best Lawyers is the oldest and most widely respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. First published in 1983, the publication has been described by The American Lawyer as the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice. Selection to Best Lawyers is based on more than 4.9 million detailed evaluations of the legal abilities of lawyers in their practice areas from the nation’s top attorneys.

Recognition in Best Lawyers, which represents an elite group of distinguished professionals, is a significant honor, said John Delgado, partner. The fact that this recognition is from our peers is both gratifying and humbling.
