September 21, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Bluestein, Nichols, Thompson, and Delgado, LLC (BNTD) has been selected as the winner of the 2015 Solo and Small Firm Section Award. The firm was recognized during the Bar’s Solo and Small Firm Conference and Tech Expo on Friday, September 18, at the Columbia Marriott.

The Solo and Small Firm Section Award is presented to a solo practitioner or small firm that has demonstrated service and leadership to the community or to fellow lawyers. The award is given to those recipients who display exemplary skill and conduct in the practice of law and have made significant contributions of time and talent to the SC Bar, the lawyer’s local bar or local community. BNTD is the second recipient of the award, which was established in 2014 to increase awareness of the value of lawyers in small firms in the state and the legal community.

“Our firm is very honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Marti Bluestein, founding partner of BNTD. “Our attorneys enjoy serving the Bar through leadership roles within our profession and as volunteers working to improve the quality of life in our communities.”

Throughout their careers, the BNTD attorneys have held leadership positions in the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice, Injured Workers’ Advocates, National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Several BNTD attorneys have contributed to SC Bar publications and all routinely devote their time and talents in service to other lawyers across the state.
