Board-certified vascular surgeon joins Tidelands Health

Dr. Ganesha Perera, a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained vascular surgeon, has joined Tidelands Health and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Perera diagnoses and treats a wide range of vascular conditions, including carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins and other venous disorders. He performs advanced vascular procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, bypass surgery and other minimally invasive and open interventions.
He sees patients at two Tidelands Health Vascular Surgery locations: 4367 Riverwood Drive, Suite 130, Murrells Inlet, and 606 Black River Road, Suite 301, Georgetown.
He is certified by the Board of Certification in vascular surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Perera earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
