The Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees on Tuesday, January 19, honored Lexington High Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Josh Stepp for being chosen as the 2015 4A Lower State Coach of the Year by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association. Stepp also was named Region Five 4A Coach of the Year.
Stepp, who joined the Lexington High athletic department as athletic director and head football coach in 2013, created a leadership council for athletes, which meets monthly to increase peer-driven leadership on athletic teams.
