Bobbitt Selected to Build Training Facility

July 23, 2013

IRMO, SC – July 23, 2013 – Bobbitt Design Build recently began a project for the South Carolina National Safety Council in Irmo, S.C. The new training facility, located on Vision Court, will total 6,541 square feet.

The new building will be a one stop shop for organizations seeking a training venue. The space will feature four different styles of multi-purpose rooms that can be rented for training purposes. From the start, Bobbitt has designed on budget to create the rooms and dimensions needed to facilitate training of up to 120 attendees, as well as worked through zoning requirements to successfully increase the number of parking spaces for maximum capacity.

We selected Bobbitt because of its vision, dedication and proven abilities to design and build a state-of-the-art facility that will allow the Council to continue its mission of making South Carolina a safer place to live, work and drive, said Brooke Russell, chief operating officer. We are excited to be able to offer this facility to better serve our community.

Bobbitt’s outstanding safety record was another factor that appealed to the Council, as well as the firm’s experience in working with non-profit organizations.

Anticipated completion of the South Carolina National Safety Council is December 2013.
