September 22, 2026

Event features open training camp, a movie on the new video board, and public skating

Bon Secours Wellness Arena, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and Levy Concessions are teaming up to host a free Community Open House on Sunday, October 4, 2026, giving the public a day of hockey, family entertainment, and community connection at the Arena. The event is free and open to the public, with RSVP encouraged.

The day begins with an open training camp and Q&A with Head Coach Costello from 10:30 a.m. to noon, giving fans an early look at the team ahead of the upcoming season. From 12:30 to 3:00 p.m., attendees can enjoy a free showing of Miracle on the Arena’s newly installed video board, with free popcorn and ice cream included.

The day wraps up with free public skating starting at 3:30 p.m., with additional discounted concessions available for purchase throughout the event. Guests are welcome to spend the whole day at the Arena or stop by for whichever activities fit their schedule.

“Days like this remind us why we do what we do, bringing people together at the Arena,” said Beth Paul, General Manager, Bon Secours Wellness Arena. “We’re proud of the investments we’ve made here, and we’re just getting started.”

The Community Open House also gives fans an early look at investments made across the Arena campus, including new dasher boards, glass, and the state-of-the-art video board, all part of the venue’s continued upgrades ahead of the season.

“We’re excited to bring fans into Bon Secours Wellness Arena for the Open House event,” said Andrew DePuy, Executive Vice President of the Swamp Rabbits. “Seeing the ice down and players on it during the open house for a team skate is a sign that we’re ever so much closer to Opening Night. Fans will have the opportunity to see new upgrades in the arena, including the new video board and new hockey boards, and get their first look at the 2026-27 Greenville Swamp Rabbits. We look forward to welcoming the best fans in the ECHL for the return of hockey season.”
