Bonnie Anzelmo new Executive Director of Injured Workers’ Advocate

COLUMBIA, SC – Bonnie G. Anzelmo has joined Injured Workers’ Advocates of South Carolina as the organization’s new Executive Director.

Anzelmo grew up in Barnwell and is an honors graduate from the University of South Carolina with a degree Psychology.  After graduating from the University of South Carolina Law School, Anzelmo entered private practice where she handled workers’ compensation claims.  Anzelmo also has extensive public service experience, previously serving as staff attorney on the House and Senate Judiciary committees before working as a consultant, developing strategic planning on legislative issues for her clients.  Prior to joining IWA, Anzelmo served as the Government Relations State Legislative Director for the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina, Inc.

Steven Goldberg, the current IWA President , said “We are pleased to have Bonnie as part of our team to lead our attorneys in advocating for the working men and women of our state. Her knowledge of the law and of our legislative process will be a great asset in fulfilling our mission to protect the injured workers of South Carolina.”
