Boorda joins Callison Tighe

COLUMBIA, SC – Dina G. Boorda, a veteran attorney with a wealth of experience in commercial finance and government lending programs, has joined Callison Tighe as special counsel.

Boorda focuses her practice on commercial and corporate transactions, including complex government loans. She also represents creditors to protect their rights during bankruptcies and foreclosures.

She has worked extensively with U.S. Small Business Administration 7(A) and 504 lending programs. Boorda is certified as a designated SBA 504 closing attorney, a credential that allows her clients to take advantage of the agency’s expedited closing process.

Boorda has almost 20 years’ experience working with both government-backed and conventional lending, special assets and business bankruptcy cases. In addition to her work as an attorney in the private sector, she’s also worked for the U.S. Small Business Administration and Justice Department.

Boorda is a 1992 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. She’ll be a part of Callison Tighes’ Banking and Commercial Finance practice group.
