Bourbon & Bubbles Expands in Clinton
November 29, 2021In April of 2017, Laurens County couple, Paul and Adele Alducin purchased a small nondescript liquor store in Clinton. Their desire was to create a boutique spirit shop entitled Bourbon & Bubbles.
Initially, Paul took over the store and set out to expand and update the inventory. “The name Bourbon & Bubbles is significant to the stock and focus of the business plan,” said Paul. In 3 1/2 years, the store has developed a reputation for stocking high end and hard to find items such as Buffalo Trace, Blantons, Weller, Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot, and many others. Collectors and connoisseurs are now seeking out the ever-changing inventory.
With the rapid growth they have seen in business and their passion of collecting spirits, Bourbon & Bubbles has outgrown the current location and has begun the process of remodeling in their new location in the Food Lion center just across the street. “We are extremely excited to make the move, as we will not only double the retail space, but our original concept will come to life,” said Adele.
Making good on their dream to create a boutique sprits store, the Alducins hope to provide a unique experience for every customer. Stop in and get what you need quickly or spend time with an associate learning more about a spirit’s history and it’s distilling process. The new location will enable them to create a shopping experience that before now was only available in larger towns outside of Laurens County.
With the expansion and relocation, Adele will concentrate on events and special orders. The new location will create the opportunity for special orders of all brands of wine and spirits available in South Carolina. They will be able to order wine, champagne, and spirits by the case for customers, so they no longer have to make the drive to Columbia or Greenville for their brand of choice or that special occasion.
In the new location, Bourbon & Bubbles will also hold tasting events and offer after hours cocktail mixing classes for customers. Stay tuned for more details as the construction progresses.
