Boxes & Bows Campaign sparks joy of giving for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands

Boxes & Bows, a holiday mailbox swag campaign, sparks the joy of giving for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands.
Residents of Richland and Lexington Counties are invited to participate in Boxes & Bows at BoxesandBows.org. Those who donate $60 will have a mailbox topped with a holiday swag made of fresh greenery and a festive, handmade bow. The first 100 people to donate $85 or more will receive a swag made of magnolia, silver hued cypress and golden cedar, freshly harvested by skilled artisans the day of production and adorned with an elegant, handmade bow.
Donors to the Boxes & Bows campaign will send extra holiday cheer to patients at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands through a virtual “Holiday Hello” that will be sent to the children on behalf of donors. The Holiday Hello includes a special greeting and festive activity shared on hospital room doors.
“Boxes & Bows is about so much more than just festive mailbox swags. It’s about showing our support for the incredible team at our local Children’s Hospital and ensuring every child gets the best care right here in our community,” said Debbie Zvejnieks and Heather Presnal, co-chairs of Boxes & Bows. “Boxes & Bows embodies the true meaning of the holidays because it offers a way for donors to celebrate the season by giving to those who need it most.”
The Boxes & Bows campaign will close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, or until swags are sold out. Swags will be installed on mailboxes by a team of volunteer elves beginning Dec. 6.
