Boyd and Wyatt Sports team up for football clinic

GREENVILLE, SC – Former Clemson star quarterback Tajh Boyd will be holding his first youth clinic in the Midlands region later this month.

The Tajh Boyd Football Fundamentals Youth Clinic will be held on Saturday, February 28 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at River Bluff High School, 320 Corley Mill Road in Lexington. Wyatt Sports Academy and Boyd’s Marketing Manager, Andy Sink of Sinkem Sports will be running the clinic.

The clinic will feature coaches with college and NFL experience as a player or coach. The coaches will focus on the fundamentals of football for kids ages 6-18. Registration fees begin as low as $85 and that includes personal instruction from Boyd, a free Adidas clinic T-shirt, and a photo opportunity. There are packages available that include the base package along with a signed autograph picture at $125 and a package that includes a signed football at $150. Boyd will not be personally signing autographs at the clinic. Proceeds will benefit the Tajh Boyd Foundation.

A three-year starter at Clemson, Boyd graduated as one of the school’s most decorated quarterbacks. During his tenure, the Tigers went 32-8 and he was named ACC Player of the Year, ACC Championship Game MVP, Orange Bowl MVP, Chick-fil-A Bowl MVP, two time All-ACC first team quarterback and once to the All-ACC second team. In addition, he set ACC records for career passing touchdowns (107) and overall touchdowns (133).He was selected by the New York Jets in the 2014 Draft.
