Brad Waring to Chair a National Committee of Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel
October 8, 2007Columbia, SC —Brad Waring, a Member (partner) in Nexsen Pruet’s Charleston office, has been appointed chairman of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Waring concentrates his practice primarily in civil litigation in state and federal courts. He emphasizes complex commercial litigation, including products liability, insurance coverage, business litigation, and admiralty.
He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for litigation; is a past president of the South Carolina Bar and a member of the Bar’s Board of Governors; and received the prestigious Compleat Lawyer Gold Award from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Additionally, Waring is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Judicature Society, the Defense Research Institute, the South Carolina Trial Attorneys Association, the South Carolina Bar Foundation, the American Bar Association, and the Charleston Bar Association.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and his law degree from the USC School of Law.
