Brad Waring to Serve as ABA State Bar Delegate

CHARLESTON, SC – January 22, 2009 – Bradish J. (Brad) Waring, a Partner in Nexsen Pruet’s Charleston office, has been named as an ABA State Bar Delegate by the South Carolina Bar.

The S.C. Bar nominating Committee nominated Waring for the position in September.  It became official when nominations closed on January 15th.  As an ABA State Bar Delegate, Waring will represent the South Carolina Bar at the national level on issues facing the American Bar Association.

He practices in the firm’s business and consumer litigation groups and is listed in Best Lawyers in America for business litigation.

Waring is a past president of the South Carolina Bar, and was named to the Commission on The Profession by The Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court.

He also works to preserve and protect Charleston’s architectural and historical heritage by serving as President of the Historic Charleston Foundation.
