Brendan Farran Joins First Citizens’ Upstate Commercial Banking Team

SPARTANBURG, SC – First Citizens today announced that Brendan Farran has joined the company’s Upstate area Commercial Banking Group as Commercial Relationship Manager. In his role as Commercial Relationship Manager, Farran will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities, expanding relationships with current commercial clients and recommending solutions that help commercial clients achieve their financial objectives.
Prior to joining First Citizens, Farran served as a commercial relationship manager for SunTrust Bank in Nashville, Tenn. Farran also has previously worked as a branch manager for Regions Bank and as a commercial real estate relationship manager for Avenue Bank.

Farran holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and an MBA from Colorado State University. He is an active member of the community, having most recently served as a member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Nashville Downtown Partnership and NAIOP Developing Leaders Program. A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Farran and his family have relocated to the Upstate.
