BridgeWay Station to Host Massive Beyond Bollywood Night Cultural Celebration

May 13, 2026

The Upstate is preparing for an explosion of rhythm and color as the India Association of Greenville (IAG) and the Telugu Association of Greater Greenville (TAGG) join forces for “Beyond Bollywood Night.” The collaborative cultural event is set to take over BridgeWay Station on Friday, May 15, 2026.

Promising “One Night, Every Beat,” the event aims to celebrate the vast diversity of Indian music and dance, moving beyond mainstream cinema to highlight regional styles that are gaining global popularity.

A Fusion of Regional Rhythms

The celebration will be a high-energy journey through India’s most iconic dance genres. According to organizers, attendees can expect a curated mix featuring:

  • Bollywood & Bhangra Fire: The classic high-energy beats of North India.

  • Tollywood Mass & Kollywood Kuthu: Fast-paced, rhythmic tracks from the thriving South Indian film industries.

  • Garba Grooves: Traditional folk dance rhythms typically associated with the state of Gujarat.

Family-Friendly Festivities

The event is designed to be inclusive for all ages. The night kicks off with a dedicated Kids DJ from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., ensuring the younger “royals” of the community have their own time on the dance floor. The main celebration will continue until 10:00 p.m., featuring a mix of professional performances and open dance floor segments.

In addition to the music, guests will have access to a variety of Indian food vendors, turning the Italian-inspired plaza of BridgeWay Station into a multicultural marketplace for the evening.
