BRIGHT+CO CEO Jennifer Sutton honored as 2020 Woman of Influence

February 20, 2020

BRIGHT+CO Marketing Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Sutton has been recognized as one of the Upstate South Carolina region’s Women of Influence by GSA Business Report. Nominated by readers and selected by a panel of judges, the 25 women recognized in inaugural award group have been selected based on their leadership and career achievements, as well as their efforts to serve and improve their community.

As the founder and CEO of BRIGHT+CO, Sutton has helped countless companies locally and nationally to increase sales, enhance profitability, handle crisis situations and grow their brand reputation. Her unique business model focuses heavily on empowering and encouraging highly tenured female marketers, who are experts in their respective marketing disciplines. A WBENC-certified woman owned business, BRIGHT+CO has doubled its full-time staff and increased its year-over-year business by more than 40 percent over the past year. The agency has also won numerous awards for high quality creative and strategic work through the American Advertising Federation, the Public Relations Society of America and the Business Marketing Association.

Sutton is also an active and engaged member of our local community, who believes in giving back, mentoring the next generation of professionals and women business leaders and donating her time and talent to worthwhile local causes, including serving on the Board of Fall for Greenville, Yeah THAT Greenville, Junior Achievement of the Upstate, and actively participating in programs that support the local business community, like LaunchGVL and the Greenville Chamber’s Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) program. She is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on business growth and marketing related topics.

The award for Sutton and her fellow honorees will be formally presented at the 2020 Women of Influence Luncheon, which will be held at the Greenville Convention Center on March 18, 2020. She will also be profiled in the April 6, 2020 issue of GSA Business Report.
