Broadcaster Joins Forces with Home Sales USA

COLUMBIA, SC – January 26, 2009 – Former broadcaster and long time radio personality, Leo Windham has joined Home Sales USA as Broker in Charge.
Home Sales USA is a locally owned real estate company franchise offering full service real estate transactions for both buyers and sellers at discount rates. Home Sales USA is currently serving the Midlands of South Carolina and the Charleston Coastal region.

Leo and his partners have purchased the franchise rights for the entire state of South Carolina with plans to open offices throughout the state. After leaving his last radio job in Charleston with Clearchannel Radio, Leo put full time efforts into working in the real estate business.
Leo started his radio career at WCOS with his brother Woody in 1968 while attending The University of South Carolina. He continued in the radio business for 38 years and was on the air waves in Columbia for over 26 years. Leo has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He says, “I’ve owned a number of businesses in my career, but the real estate business is really exciting to me. It’s truly a people business. I love the opportunity to bring folks together. I’m hiring new agents now and putting together a great team of professionals. Leo’s years of experience in marketing and broadcasting make for a perfect segue into the real estate business. Does he bring along his cast of radio characters? “You mean Beach Billy and others? They are part of me and always will be. I think they bring out my true personality” said Windham.
