Brookgreen Summer Camps Offer Education and Summer Fun for Children & Adults!

PAWLEY’S ISLAND, SC – March 15, 2012 – Camp Brookgreen 2012 will host one-week sessions of summer fun and educational enrichment that will include activities at Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park.  Some of the activities include storytelling, arts and crafts, native plant and animal interactive programs, and a boat ride along freshwater creeks and rivers.  Two two-day arts camps and a one-day Camp Brookgreen for Adults also will be available.
 
Registration, at 843-235-6049, begins March 19 for Members and March 26 for Non-members.

Camp hours are 10:00-3:00, Monday through Friday, and the cost per child is $160.00/Members and $185/Non-members. Dates for rising 2nd  & 3rd  graders are June 11-15, 18-22, and 25-29;  for rising 4th & 5th graders are July 9-13 and 6-20.   Registration for Arts Camp is $95/Members and $115/Non-members.  Arts Camp with Janice Mauro (Rising 8th & 9th graders) is June 18-19, and with Diane Turnley (Rising 6th & 7th) is July 5-6. Camp Brookgreen for Adults is July 24 and is $50.00.
