Buckaroo Brew invites families to Friday story time in downtown Laurens

Buckaroo Brew is giving local families a reason to linger over their morning drinks this fall with a weekly story time series held Fridays at 11 a.m. at the coffee shop on West Laurens Street.
The free sessions are open to guests of every age, with the shop’s event sign welcoming everyone from 0 to 99. Parents and grandparents can order a favorite drink and settle in while little ones enjoy stories, songs and seasonal fun.
The October lineup kicked off Oct. 9 with Fall Fun led by Allison Warren. Two sessions remain this month:
Oct. 23: Music and Bible stories with John Walsh and Jim Yarbrough
Oct. 30: Spooky stories with Allison Warren, just in time for Halloween. Costumes are encouraged.
Buckaroo Brew serves coffee and specialty drinks for early risers and anyone in need of an afternoon pick-me-up. The western-themed shop greets its guests as cowboys and cowgirls and has positioned story time as an easy outing for families looking to get out of the house on a Friday morning.
Buckaroo Brew is located at 235 W. Laurens St. in Laurens. Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
