Burnette, McDaniel of Burnette Shutt & McDaniel included in Legal Elite

M. Malissa Burnette and Kathleen McDaniel are included in the newest edition of “Legal Elite of the Midlands.” Both are listed in the Top 10 in two practice areas each.

Burnette is highlighted in Labor and Employment Law and Education Law, while McDaniel is honored in Environmental and Energy and Utilities Law.

The attorneys at Burnette Shutt & McDaniel have a long history with “Legal Elite of the Midlands.” Both Burnette and McDaniel were first honored in 2011. McDaniel has been included in every edition since then.

This is the first year she’s also been named to the Legal Elite list in energy and utilities law. One of the founders of Burnette Shutt & McDaniel, her practice includes government law as well.

Burnette, another of the firm’s founders and a South Carolina Supreme Court Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law, has been honored in an array of employment law-related practice areas over the year, including employment law litigation. She’s also been recognized in government law and mediation. This is the first year she’s been recognized in education law.
