Burnette Shutt & McDaniel earns 4 top-tier honors in “Best Law Firms”

Burnette Shutt & McDaniel has earned Tier One honors in two employment law categories as well as in two additional practice areas in the just-released addition of “Best Law Firms in America.”

Burnette Shutt & McDaniel has earned top rankings in the national publication every year since the firm’s inception. The firm long has been recognized in Employment Law – Individuals and in Litigation – Labor & Employment Law. This year the firm added two additional Tier One honors to its list: Civil Rights Law and Mediation.

The firm also is recognized in four other practice areas in the 2022 edition of the national directory: Employment Benefits (ERISA) Law, Employment Law – Management, Litigation – ERISA, and Commercial Litigation.

Firms included in “Best Law Firms” are recognized for professional excellence as demonstrated by consistently high rankings from clients and peers. To be considered, at least one of a firm’s attorneys must be included in the peer-reviewed “Best Lawyers in America.”

Burnette Shutt & McDaniel qualified when six of its attorneys earned a total of 20 honors across 10 practice areas in the peer-review publication and its companion piece, “Ones to Watch.” Nekki Shutt led the way with nine honors. All six were recognized in at least one employment law category. Most also were recognized for their work as litigators.
