Butler Properties & Development has hired Rob McAlister, Jr., to consolidate all marketing and research activities
COLUMBIA, SC – November 1, 2012 – Butler Properties & Development has hired Rob McAlister, Jr. to head up all marketing and research activities for the company as it continues to expand acquisition and development of commercial real estate assets throughout the Southeast.
Rob McAlister, Jr. has a degree in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina. He has a wide range of experience in real estate marketing and business research having worked for over 3 years in this field for organizations such as the University of South Carolina, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, and Cushman and Wakefield, Inc. He recently returned from a 6-month missions trip to Chad in Africa where he served a local hospital as the interim Financial Director. Having lived for over 9 years in Europe, Rob is conversational in both Russian and French.
Travis A. Butler, President of Butler Properties and Development, founded the company in 2005. He has been the President or Managing partner of over 15 companies and partnerships. Mr. Butler’s companies, under the umbrella of Butler Properties and Development, currently focus on the acquisition and development of real estate with a primary concentration on retail.
