C.F. Evans honored with National Association of Home Builders Safety Award For Excellence

February 17, 2012

ORANGEBURG, SC – February 17, 2012 – C.F. Evans has been recognized as the 2011 National Association of Home Builders/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) first place winner in the category of Multifamily Safety Program of the Year.

The NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company SAFE Award recognizes member companies, workers and other individuals for the excellent safety programs that make them leaders in the residential construction industry. A finalist last year, C.F. Evans has worked hard over the last few years to solidify a safety program called WORKSAFE and make safety a state of mind for all employees. With 1402 days since a lost time incident and 1171 since a recordable incident (at time of press), C.F. Evans is incredibly proud of its employees for taking safety to the next level in the organization.

Each and every C.F. Evans employee has worked hard to make sure that safety is an integral part of our culture, Safety Compliance Officer Hank Rhame said. Our attitudes and actions have paved the way in building an environment where safety is a priority and non-compliance isn’t an option.

The 2011 NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) is a great honor and a well-deserved recognition for the C.F. Evans team. It’s important to remember that in accepting this award, we have once again ‘raised the bar’ for safety excellence and our commitment to growth and continuous improvement.
