C4 Ministries of Laurens County to Host Dessert Reception to Welcome New Executive Director

June 8, 2026

C4 Ministries of Laurens County will host a Dessert Reception Tuesday, June 9, 2026, to celebrate and welcome Amanda Anderson as the organization’s new Executive Director.

The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Attendees are encouraged to drop in between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Bobo Hall, First Baptist Church Laurens, located at 300 West Main St. in Laurens. A brief program will follow at 7:00 p.m., featuring remarks from Anderson and several C4 families.

In addition to meeting Anderson, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from families the ministry has served and learn how to get involved with the organization.

C4 Ministries of Laurens County grew out of Family Promise of Laurens County, which voted in late 2024 to affiliate with C4 Ministries, a Christ-centered organization with locations in Union, Easley, and Duncan. The name reflects the organization’s core mission: Christ-Centered, Crisis, Care, and Counseling.

The organization serves families in need through shelter for families with children, eviction prevention services, shelter diversion services, and stabilization services that provide case management support for 12 to 16 months following housing placement. In 2024, the organization served 379 individuals, including 223 children, and assisted 91 families through eviction prevention programs.
