Calling all amateur photographers! The South Carolina Wildlife Federation’s 17th Annual Wildlife Photography Contest is open for submissions

August 19, 2019

Amateur photographers from all over the state are invited to submit their best pictures capturing the beauty of South Carolina’s nature – in their own backyard or South Carolina’s backyard of natural landscapes to the SCWF’s Annual Wildlife Photography Contest.

Participants have from now until Thursday, October 31st to submit photos in up to three different categories: Carolina Critters, Scenes of South Carolina and Backyard Habitat. A maximum of nine images may be submitted per individual (three images in each category).

“This is one of our favorite annual traditions,” said SCWF Executive Director Sara Green. “Every year we see pictures of amazing beauty representing the wildlife in South Carolina and we look forward to seeing what this year will uncover.”

Winners in each category will receive $100 in prize money and have their pictures featured on SCWF’s website and social media.
