Calling All ‘Wild’ Park Lovers: Tickets on Sale for Party for the Parks

Early-bird tickets are on sale for the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s signature fundraiser, Party for the Parks, coming to Colonial Lake on Saturday, Nov. 2. This year’s theme is “Call of the Wild” where punk rock meets animal instincts.
Park lovers will be decked out in animal prints, neon, mohawks, leather, and studs while enjoying food, drinks and entertainment at Charleston’s iconic Colonial Lake. Early-bird general admission tickets are $95 each; limited quantities are available. Once those tickets sell out or on Oct. 1, regular general admission tickets will increase to $125 each.
Limited quantities of early-bird VIP tickets are $125 each. Once those tickets are sold out or on Oct. 1, the price increases to $250 each. VIP ticket holders get access to the VIP tent, sponsored by First National Bank, which includes a private lounge with a bar, signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and food from Hospitality Management Group, Harvest Catering, and Charleston Chocolatiers and VIP-only entertainment.
All tickets include open bar and food from a number of local restaurants and caterers. New to this year’s party are Parcel 32, The Refuge, Basic Kitchen, Goulette Rotisserie & Grill, and Joséphine Wine Bar. Plus, there will be live music, “wild” entertainment and a silent auction of curated packages and exclusive experiences.
Party for the Parks is 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Colonial Lake. This event sells out each year so advance ticket purchase is encouraged at www.partyfortheparks.com. This event is strictly 21+.
Anyone can support the Conservancy by purchasing a raffle ticket for a chance to win a customizable four-passenger neighborhood golf cart. Golf Cars of Charleston is donating a 2017 Club Car Electric Precedent. Raffle tickets are $100 and available for purchase online at https://go.rallyup.com/partyfortheparksraffle. The total retail value of this package is over $8, 500. The winner will be announced at Party for the Parks on Nov. 2. You do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds from Party for the Parks support the Charleston Parks Conservancy. For more than 10 years, the Conservancy — through public-private partnerships — has had a hand in renovating and beautifying more than 25 parks in the City of Charleston. Notable projects include the complete renovation of Colonial Lake, the renovation of the Rose Pavilion at Hampton Park as well as Allan Park, Wragg Square, McMahon Playground at Hampton Park, Magnolia Park and Community Garden, Marion Square, and Medway Park and Community Garden.
