Callison Tighe earns 4 Tier 1 honors in Best Law Firms

November 1, 2019

Callison Tighe has earned four Tier 1 honors, and nine honors overall, in the just-released 2020 edition of “Best Law Firms in America.”

The Tier 1 honors were in banking and finance litigation, insurance litigation, real estate litigation and real estate law. Insurance litigation is new to the list this year.

The Tier 1 designation “reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity,” Best Law Firms says.

The firm also was recognized for its work in trust and estates litigation, bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law, plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, trusts and estates law and claimants’ workers’ compensation law.

Callison Tighe has been honored in every edition of “Best Law Firms” since the annual guide’s inception.

“It’s always gratifying when peers recognize your work,” firm managing member Michael Tighe said. “We’re especially pleased that our fellow attorneys have rated us so highly for more than a decade.”

To be included in “Best Law Firms,” a firm must have at least one attorney rated in “Best Lawyers in America.” Eleven Callison Tighe attorneys earned a total of 25 honors in a diverse range of practice areas in the 2020 edition of the peer-reviewed guide.

The honorees were Edward D. “Butch” Barnhill Jr., Wm. Bert Brannon, Sherwood M. Cleveland, Richard C. Detwiler, Andrew C. English, III, David L. Ewing, Demetri “Jim” Koutrakos, Louis H. Lang, Ralph C. Robinson, Mr. Tighe and D. Reece Williams III.
