COLUMBIA, SC – January 6, 2009 – D. Reece Williams III, partner at Columbia, SC based Callison Tighe & Robinson, LLP, was recently featured in Irish America Magazine’s “Stars of the South” tribute.

Designed for Irish Americans interested in their heritage, Irish America magazine features politics, Irish history, culture and interviews with prominent Irish Americans. Williams was noted for his long history of legal accomplishments as well as his civic altruism. Along with Williams, there were honorees from Atlanta, Virginia, Miami and Washington, D.C. as well as representatives from Irish and British government agencies. In a ceremony held in October, Williams paid tribute to the role his ancestors played in the American Revolution.

In addition to this honor, Mr. Williams was elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates in 1989, an organization whose membership is restricted to lawyers who have completed at least 50 jury trials.
