Cameo Joseph-McCollum named 2025 Compleat Lawyer Award recipient by the University of South Carolina
April 14, 2025Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. announced that Cameo Joseph-McCollum has been named a recipient of a 2025 Compleat Lawyer Award.
The Compleat Lawyer Awards, established in 1992 by the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law Alumni Council, represent the highest honor the law school bestows upon its alumni. The awards recognize outstanding civic and professional achievements and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of professional competence, ethics and integrity.
Joseph-McCollum, a shareholder in the firm’s Greenville office, has been honored with the Silver Compleat Lawyer Award. A member of the class of 2016, Joseph-McCollum has made significant contributions to the legal profession through her leadership and dedication to serving clients and the community. Her practice focuses on defending healthcare systems, hospitals, insurers, physicians and nurses on various medical negligence claims. She is also a member of multiple professional associations, including the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, the Special Olympics South Carolina Board of Directors and the Greenville County Bar Association, where she serves as chair of the Caring Committee. Joseph-McCollum is also a 2016 recipient of the Bronze Compleat Lawyer Award.

The Compleat Lawyer Awards program was established to recognize alumni who have significantly impacted the legal profession. The awards are presented in three categories based on years of experience: Platinum (31+ years), Gold (16-30 years) and Silver (up to 15 years).
