Camp Happy Days Presents Annual Summer Camp Themed “Seize the Moment”

CHARLESTON, SC – Starting next Sunday, June 28 through Saturday, July 4, Camp Happy Days welcomes over 220 children battling cancer and their siblings to “Seize the Moment” at the organization’s annual six-day program at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, SC. Over 200 qualified counselors including medical staff will lead the campers through various activities such as team building, rope courses, climbing walls, fishing, boating, horseback riding and so much more. The summer camp gives these children the opportunity to escape the worries of cancer and treatments to enjoy a thrilling and educational excursion. Each day, the campers will discover and be inspired by others who “seized the moment.” The summer camp is provided at no cost to the families.

Camp Happy Days will be hosting a Media Day on Wednesday, July 1 where all members of the media are invited to experience a day at the annual summer camp, with lunch included. To RSVP to the Media Day, please contact Elizabeth Clark at [email protected] or call 843-571-4336.

Camp Happy Days is a South Carolina charity that provides year-round, cost-free services to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. The main goal is to give these children life-changing experiences that offer hope, courage, and the will to fight.
