The Coastal Carolina Council, in conjunction with Camp No-Non-Wah Alumni Association, will host its first annual Wild Game Dinner & Skeet Shoot on Saturday, March 27, 2021 to benefit programs at the local Charleston area scout camp.

“2020 was a challenging year for everyone.  Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID, the decision not to operate our summer camp program was in the best interest of the health and safety for our scouts and leaders.  Today, our scouts need the outdoor experience more than ever.  It is essential that this summer, we provide the much needed outdoor and camping experiences which will allow our youth to grow into the leaders of tomorrow” says James Barton, Camp Ho Non Wah’s Camp Director since 2005.

“The Wild Game Dinner and Skeet Shoot gives us the opportunity to engage the community to show what Camp Ho-Non-Wah is, and what need that camp fills in serving our youth in the Coastal Carolina Council.  Without operating camp, funding needed to maintain and improve our camp is not available.” says Kevin Kramer, Camp Ho-Non-Wah Alumni Association President.

The benefit begins at 3pm with the skeet shoot, followed by a camp tour and evening dinner.  The featured “wild” tastes include:

  • Venison
  • Alligator
  • Duck
  • Buffalo
