Cancer association’s November meeting to feature Thrive Laurens County speaker

October 17, 2026

The Laurens County Cancer Association will host its next Living with Cancer meeting Thursday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. at 1337 Medical Ridge Road in Clinton. A light meal will be served.

Claire Beachy of Thrive Laurens County will be the guest speaker.

The monthly gathering offers people facing cancer, survivors and caregivers a chance to connect, share encouragement and learn about resources available close to home.

“Living with Cancer is about making sure no one in Laurens County walks this road alone,” said Anna Miller, executive director of the Laurens County Cancer Association. “We are grateful to have Claire join us in November, and we hope she brings practical information and encouragement our families can use. Anyone touched by cancer is welcome to come, share a meal and be part of the conversation.”

The meeting is open to cancer patients, survivors, family members and caregivers. Those planning to attend can sign up by emailing [email protected].

The Laurens County Cancer Association supports Laurens County residents affected by cancer through assistance, education and community connection.
