Candidate for SC Superintendent of Education Coming to Laurens Saturday June 25

Republican candidate for SC Superintendent of Education, Ellen Weaver, will visit Laurens County this Saturday.

With just a few days before the Republican primary runoff election, Weaver will come to Laurens to meet voters and create conversation about the important issue of eduction.  Anyone with questions for the candidate is encouraged to come out to “Ice Cream and Conversations.” The event will be held on Saturday, June 25 from 9 am – noon on the Public Square in Laurens.  The Front Porch Churn will be onsite to satisfy your sweet tooth and help cool you down on a hot Saturday morning.

The runoff election will take place on Tuesday, June 28.
