Cane Bay High to receive $10,000 from McElveen Buick GMC

MONCKS CORNER, SC – Cane Bay High School will receive a check for $10,000 from McElveen Buick GMC for successfully campaigning and securing members of the community to test drive Buicks during the Buick’s Drive for Your Students Program. The check presentation will be Friday, December 18, at McElveen Buick GMC (117 Farmington Road, Summerville) at 10 a.m.
During Cane Bay’s Buick Drive for Your Students event, McElveen loaned 20 Buicks to the school. More than 500 students, teachers and members of the community visited the school on Saturday, November 14, to test drive Buicks and to ensure the school met its goal.
This will mark the second time Cane Bay High School has earned funds through Buick’s Drive for Your Students event.
