Carlisle Associates adds two new hires to the growing organization

Carlisle Associates announced the addition of two new hires to their growing organization–Master of Library Science, Callie Smith and Civil Engineer, Wesley Harrison.

“Despite these uncertain times, we are continuing to grow our team and invest in the future of our company,”  said Carlisle Associates President, Gene Resch. “We are all very excited to have Callie and Wesley join the team. Both new additions bring a vibrant approach to what they do, which is exactly what we need to help us execute our vision for the future.”

Callie Smith, MLIS

Callie Smith, MLIS brings with her a wealth of knowledge in library science and marketing to the team. She has experience in developing literacy outreach programs, archiving rare publications and a passion for the written word. In her new role, Callie will focus on creating efficient systems to modernize how the firm markets, preserves and archives their product.  A native of Columbia, Callie earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and Certificate in the Principles of Bibliographic Description from the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia. Callie and her husband, Zack, an Account Manager for AZPartsmaster, reside in West Columbia.

Wesley Harrison, P.E.

Wesley Harrison, P.E. brings to the team ten years of experience in civil engineering, both in the public and private sectors. He is experienced in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater design and modeling, erosion and sediment control design, and floodplain management. Wesley will work with the civil team to create engineering plans for land development. Originally from Tennessee, Wesley moved to South Carolina to attend Clemson University, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering. Since graduation he has worked for Kimley-Horn, S&ME, and the City of Columbia, SC among others. His diversified resume of experience and engineering knowledge will be invaluable to the firm’s civil team. Wesley resides in Columbia, has two children, and is an avid fan of the Clemson tigers.
