COLUMBIA, SC – November 3, 2008 – Carolina Ceramics Brick Company has named Denise Whittington Vice President of Marketing and National Accounts. She will be responsible for product development, marketing strategies for the company’s regional and distributor networks and managing key national
accounts such as Walgreens, Starbucks and Arby’s.
Whittington joined Carolina Ceramics in 1984 as Customer Service and Product Manager. She was named Sales Manager in 1990 and promoted to
Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 1991. She currently serves on the Brick Industry Association’s Southeast Region Marketing Committee and is
Chairman of the Association’s Architectural Taskforce. Whittington also serves on the Board and Financial Development Committee of Harvest Hope Food Bank.
