Carolina Event Consultants Continues to Grow

COLUMBIA, SC – October 27, 2008 – Nancye Bailey, owner of Columbia-based Carolina Event Consultants, is pleased to announce the relocation of their corporate offices to 3111 Devine Street.
Founded in 2006, Carolina Event Consultants is a professional event management company that specializes in producing successful meetings and events for its clients in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. A recent surge in business has forced CEC to move into larger offices and hire additional staff to better serve their client base.
“Not such a bad problem to have!” Bailey says. “Even in this economy, our business seems to fill a need for the busy, overworked executive with too much on his plate. We can handle a wide range of corporate and social events such as board meetings, educational seminars, conventions, trade shows, business luncheons and staff retreats.”
A native of Columbia, Ms. Bailey graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Public Relations and is a member of Meeting Professionals International and the Association of Bridal Consultants. She is also on the board of the Junior League of Columbia. Recently, Carolina Event Consultants produced several events in conjunction with the 2008 Parade of Homes at the Saluda River Club in Lexington.
“Special events like these allow us to showcase our talents and resources in many areas,” Bailey says. “From site selection to catering to budget development, CEC helped Saluda River Club create these successful events while handling all the details so the client could concentrate on the development itself.”
To help meet the demand for professional event planners, Carolina Event Consultants has recently added three new employees to its staff. Gayle Stephenson, Amanda Stefanakos and Ansley Rhodes are all part of a team of energetic and dedicated consultants committed to detail and their client’s vision for a successful event. Ms. Stephenson and Ms. Stefanakos will be responsible for event planning and management, while Ms. Rhodes will concentrate on the wedding and reception aspect of the business.
