Carolina Nephrology adds two nephrologists

GREENVILLE, SC – Carolina Nephrology, a top provider for patient kidney care, is proud to welcome two new nephrologists to their team, Dr. Barry Gorlitsky and Dr. Matthew Floyd.

Dr. Barry Gorlitsky completed his nephrology fellowship at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, CT. Board Certified in 2013, he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona and was chief resident from 2012-13. He received his medical doctorate from St. Georges University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Gorlitsky earned a bachelor of science in biology from the University of South Carolina and is an intermediate medical Spanish speaker.

Dr. Matthew Floyd has been working as a hospitalist at Baptist Inpatient Medicine Associates since August 2012. He completed his nephrology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as chief fellow from 2014-15. He completed his internal medicine residency at Palmetto Health/University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. He received his medical doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of South Carolina.
