Carolina One adds to team focused on agent careers

Carolina One Real Estate has grown their Career Services Team by moving Brooke Goldman into the positon of New Agent Liaison and by  promoting Katie Maus to Experienced Agent Liaison, allowing each of them to collectively focus on agents at all stages of their real estate careers.

As the New Agent Liaison, Brooke Goldman will be focusing on identifying individuals new to the industry, including those looking to make a lifestyle change and interested in launching a new career in real estate, as well as working with those who are further along in the process and deciding which real estate company they will affiliate with.  According to Ms. Goldman, “I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to help people improve their lives by helping them get started in a new career with uncapped potential. In fact, our company’s per person productivity outperforms the competition by 60%.”

Born in Greenwood, SC, Brooke Goldman finished high school early and graduated from Lander University with a degree in Mass Communications and Theater.  Following graduation, Brooke moved to Atlanta in pursuit of her acting career and planned to eventually move to New York with ambitions of working on Broadway. Realizing that theater would always be a cherished hobby, but not a life-long career, Goldman transitioned to the business world and sold print advertising in Atlanta, before moving to Charleston where she worked as the office administrator for Carolina One’s Mt. Pleasant Coleman Blvd. office.  A resident of James Island and a true beach lover, Brooke enjoys staying active.  Brooke has also served as a mentor at North Charleston High School and is an active member of the Charleston Metro Chamber’s Charleston Young Professionals (CYP) organization.

Having worked with new agents for the past several years, Katie Maus was promoted to the positon of Experienced Agent Liaison and is responsible, along with Carolina One’s office managers, for identifying veteran Realtors® who may be looking to make a change and grow their businesses or teams, by partnering with Carolina One, Metro Charleston’s real estate market leader.  “I love that Carolina One has offered me the opportunity to share our company’s vision and our CORE values to experienced agents who are a good fit with the incredible culture we have here,” said Ms. Maus.

Katie Maus was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a degree in Sports Management, hoping to fulfill a childhood dream of working for one of Philadelphia’s pro sports franchises, before she and her husband Jared moved to Charleston in search of a shared business opportunity.  Once in Charleston, Katie worked for Kiawah Island Golf Resort and briefly enjoyed working in the customer service and hospitality industry before taking a role with Obsidian International Trading where she sourced assets and managed a database worth billions.  In their personal lives, Katie and Jared live on James Island with their chocolate lab Daulton and together own the Immortal Lobster food truck.  Katie is an avid lover of fitness training and reading and also a member of CYP.
