Carolina Payment Solutions Rebrands as Tandem

GREENVILLE, SC – December 1, 2010 – Carolina Payment Solutions, a regional payment processing company based in Greenville, has changed its name to Tandem Innovative Payment Solutions. The company is still operating under the same ownership and management.

According to company founder and president Larry Feniger, the new brand reflects the company’s mission of working in partnership with merchants, helping them navigate the often-murky waters of credit card payment processing.

“The payment processing industry is historically cold and impersonal,” according to Feniger. “Merchants typically receive statements that are impossible to understand and have no one to talk to. Our business model is changing all that. We’re not vendors, we’re partners. We stay engaged with our customers. That’s what the name Tandem is all about.”

Since launching in 2009, Feniger has seen his business expand steadily throughout the Carolinas. The company recently opened an additional office in Jacksonville, Fla.
