Carolina Prep hosts annual art show fundraiser

March 30, 2015

GREENVILLE, SC – Carolina International Preparatory School hosted its annual student art show on Thursday, March 26 2015.

The art show is an annual Carolina Prep fundraiser. Each year, the school hosts the event to display artwork from individual students and group projects. The event is set up similar to an art exhibition, opposed to a contest, and does not feature any type of placements or awards.

The fundraiser also includes a silent auction which includes student creations and donated items. Student creations are created by each grade as a group project. Parents are able to pay for the student’s artwork, as well as bid on silent auction items.

This year, these items included unique paintings, a large clock constructed from a wheel, and other mixed media art projects.
