Carolina Prep to host annual 5K fundraiser

GREENVILLE, SC – Carolina Prep students are once again racing for excellence at Furman.
Carolina International Preparatory School will host the third annual Race for Excellence on Saturday, May 16 with a 5K at 8:30 a.m. and one mile fun run at 9:30 a.m. at the Shi Center at Furman University.
All proceeds from the Race for Excellence will benefit pre-school learning centers and the school’s soccer program. The 5K grand prize is $250 cash. Additionally, the first three children under 12 to complete the 5K will receive a trophy.
