CarolinaPower recognized nationally as a 2021 Top Performer by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)

March 16, 2021

CarolinaPower, a leading regional electrical contractor four offices in South Carolina, is honored to have earned a spot on the prestigious list of 2021 Top Performers unveiled this week by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). The annual Top Performers list recognizes member contractors’ achievements in five specific areas – safety, quality, diversity, project excellence and special designations, ranked by work hours. CarolinaPower ranked No. 10 nationally among the 33 electrical contractors on the list.

“We are honored to be named a Top Performer by ABC,” said Chris Moore, President of CarolinaPower. “Safety, quality, workforce development, diversity and education tie closely to our core values and are indicative of how our employee-owners engage with clients.”

To be eligible, Top Performers demonstrated world-class safety performance by achieving Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which makes the top-performing contractors up to 655% safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to the ABC 2021 Safety Performance Report.

Top Performer listings also highlight contractors that have earned ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) credential for their commitment to corporate responsibility in quality, safety, talent management, education, community relations and inclusion, diversity and equity.

ABC’s 2021 Top Performers list was published as a supplement to Construction Executive magazine. View the list at abc.org/topperformers.
