Carpenter named assistant administrator at Carolina Springs Middle

LEXINGTON, SC — During the July 19, 2016 regular monthly meeting of the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees, the board approved the promotion of Ryan W. Carpenter to assistant administrator at Carolina Springs Middle.
Carpenter worked at Pleasant Hill Middle as a digital literacy educator since 2006. He served as the technology, leadership and physical education department head since 2014.
After working as an assistant C-team football and basketball coach since 2006, Carpenter assumed athletic director duties at PHMS in 2014.
In October 2015, Carpenter substituted for an administrator on leave at PHMS, handling sixth-grade discipline and other administrative duties until December 2015.
Carpenter received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from College of Charleston. He earned both a Master of Arts in teaching and business education and a Master of Education in educational leadership from the University of South Carolina.
